Typo-geography editorial
A sculptural journey into the history of Gucci’s typography; exploring and reinterpreting the many incarnations of the brand’s logos.
Shot on location in Portugal, the sculptures originated as hand drawn sketches that were developed digitally and taken back into the physical realm, as 3D printed pieces.
The italicised ‘G’ of 1923 appears to rise from an otherworldly landscape and the iconic interlocking G’s, shape and reshape as the distinctive letters shift and merge with the Iberian terrain.
