I had to dig deep for this one! I’ve been riding with my 7yr old son Easton the last couple years and he hit his first ramp over the weekend! Watching him build up the confidence to hit it brought back some pretty core memories from my first time. I was twice his age so he’s got a pretty big head start. I’m not expecting freestyle to be in his future, but we’re just having fun.
What an incredible ride! 10 days, 1,700 miles of epic singletrack and long rocky roads with @desertassassins . 20 years strong, and I’ve been part of 12+ adventures. Amazing crew, great guys—grateful for every one of them. First time my kids joined for the arrival, making it extra special to share this moment with them.
Our leaders on the trail have a combined Baja experience of around 80 years ha ha for the 20th @monsterenergy Rip to Cabo presented by @guts_racing_inc@johnnycampbell11x is a humble 11-time winner of the Baja 1000 and an all around amazing human. He’s our ringer so to speak and we appreciate @honda_racing_us not filling his @dakarrally schedule when we really want to have him with us!
@andybonin has been on board for about 12 years and his Panda 🐼 nickname is about the best in our group. He’s a pro level rider, probably a better sweeper than even that but his leading and sniffing out the routes is like a hound dog….”panda hound”?
@markmoss is 20 for 20 on Rip to Cabo and has been one of the primary hosts of this trip since its inception. A true OG of the trip who embodies what this is all about, sharing the stoke with his brothers.
@ryanhagy is our budding lead rider managing the mid pack. A former FMX pro and world traveler he’s been roosting Baja with us about 14 years. He also helps with some partner arrangements which is up his alley being a part of the @dangerboydeegan@briandeegan38@hailiedeegan management crew.
