I was pretty damn honoured a month or so back to be asked to make the poster for @americansingsong 's absolutely incredible (and absolutely bananas) musical Hole! And I had an absolutely great time working on it. Absolutely.
They're touring the show around a bit all over the world this year and it's also just gone up on Spotify (there's all the info and stuff over on their page). You should do whatever you can to be a part of it - even if I hadn't drawn the poster I'd still be obsessed with it.

It's a public domain collection of photos taken by William Gottlieb documenting the Golden Age of Jazz in New York and Washington. As much as I love getting really messy with some ink and throwing lines of haphazard weight down on a sketchbook it is nice to be neat sometimes. I had a load of potential poses for my Muad D'ib Supreme picture and it felt like a shame to discard all the ones I didn't use. So I drew this guy.
And then as I was working on it the lines got thinner and the black got blacker and the white got whiter and then here we are.
