(The background here is Netflix released the data on their viewership 👏 Amateur hit 4 million hours in the first half of 2023. So I got Asian with the math here... 4.1m hours X 60 mins, divided by a 90 min runtime, times ~2 people watching per account view (e.g. you and yours watch on the couch, that’s 1 account view but 2 people, and I’m told the average is slightly higher than 2)... so that’s 5.5 million people over 6 months, in one year that would be 11 million people... A good portion of those minutes could be people only watching a little bit, and some would be repeat views, plus I’m actually bad at math so correct me if I’m wrong… but either way this is way higher than I expected 🤓) #netflix #movies #filmmaking #film #filmmaker
