EDM Sax
So I grew up playing the Saxophone and I can’t say I ever really enjoyed it. I loved playing with others and making beautiful music but I don’t think I ever learned to love the instrument for what it is. Band programs were highly competitive and I never really was able to play at that level. I always kind of thought I had to be really really good to enjoy it.
Turns Out playing it can just be fun.
Ive got a gig this weekend playing with A Dj doing Edm at a wedding. Im here for it.
Many of you know I have outright contempt for social media and “Content” but I have decided to engage with the only authentic way I know how.
By being myself... unhinged and offensive.
June 11th Bill Dutcher, Ryan David Green and I will be playing @The Musical Instrument Museum. About 2/3 of tickets are sold and we need to pack this place out for what is sure to be a magical evening!

my songwriting “ Heros /she-ros”. I am a big fan and I really respect her music. She has this magic quality that all my favorite artists have.
When she opens her mouth to sing I believe her.
I have to admit for the first time in a long time I felt some nerves opening for someone…

This is from a show at Fiddler's Dream Coffeehouse from a few weeks ago. I honestly can’t remember the last time I got to play fully acoustic in a room. It is a totally different way of hearing music that I must admit feels entirely foreign even though I am technically an “acoustic act” . I always sort of viewed myself as a “Rock guy” in spirt, energy, and volume. Amplification is part of my sound not an unfortunate necessity.
