A quick pit stop in San Diego to yell, ā€œcome onā€ with my favorite artist @kaskade - I haven’t shot a concert in forever so decided to sneak a point and shoot into the show, here’s a couple of my favorite frames from the night šŸŽ†

I’ve been a bit MIA, but a little bit of a long caption here. I think life is all about embracing and challenging yourself. Seven years ago I took a last minute ride with @volarehelicopters in 2018 and fell in love with the idea of flying. After realizing how expensive it was, I thought flying helicopters would be nothing more than a hard to reach fantasy. Fast forward to February last year, and I wanted to start doing things that had been on my bucket list since I was in high school. One of those included an open door helicopter ride over Kauai (with our super talented pilot @agnesullenius ). That inner kid came back out again and I knew I was hooked. Funny how such a small decision can change your life. A year later and working harder than I ever had before and taking the money I had saved for a house (kidding, sorta) and you’re looking at your newest certified private helicopter pilot. Never thought I’d ever call myself a pilot in my lifetime, but life is too short not to take risks and do things that make you uncomfortable. A gentle reminder to bet on yourself, and do the things no one thinks you can do. Also a big thank you to @volarehelicopters & @t.sturges . Reflecting back this was arguably one of the hardest things I’ve ever pushed myself to do and I couldn’t have done it without them. Someone close to me told me to, ā€˜be spontaneous’ and if you’ve read this far, take that leap on yourself and challenge yourself in ways you don’t think are possible, I promise you won’t regret it.

Here’s to 26 laps around the ā˜€ļø and my bi annual Instagram post. 25 was quite the learning year with some of my highest highs and lowest of lows. Feels weird being closer to my 30’s than 20’s but lots to share coming up :) Shot on my favorite medium format point and shoot: Fuji GA645 and Kodak Tri-X 400 šŸŽžļø

Haven’t really posted here in a while, 2023 has arguably been my biggest year of learning yet. You learn that sometimes your grandpa slowly goes blind for reasons the doctors can’t quite figure out. You learn that sometimes someone you love will walk away for a reason you still don’t understand. You learn that sometimes you have to lose yourself a bit to really start finding yourself. Lately I’ve been spending some small moments with those most important to me at a place that I’ve always taken for granted. Starting to realize now more than ever who I am and where I’m meant to be. Social media tends to be all about the highs but sometimes the lows are part of life but you put your head down, work hard and just keep going. Here’s to 2024.

A year ago today I turned 24 in Bali at arguably the most beautiful waterfall I’ve laid my eyes on. Today I take my 25th lap around the sun ā˜€ļø Don’t tend to post a lot anymore but here’s to another year of working in the shadows and traveling nonstop getting to do what I love for a living. Forever grateful to the people that allow me to do what I do, see y’all in another year šŸ—ŗļø

A day late… but here’s to 24 laps around the sun ā˜€ļø Side note: I wrote in my journal a year ago that I wanted to turn 24 in a different country. I finally decided to take some time off from working nonstop and reset, hands down the best decision I’ve made recently

Lost moments V1 🌓 This idea came to me as I started to archive some of my hard drives. I realized I had so many moments with my friends that have gone unshared and I knew I needed to do something about it. A big part of the reason I picked up a camera in the first place was to document the small moments around me with my friends. This first one of the series has some of my favorite travel moments from back in 2019, enjoy.
