////050921 im profoundly sad to see how men and women seem to be at war against each other lately… Everyone seem to be on edge all the time, hiding behind their shields with their guard always up, waiting for any opportunity to throw a stone at each other, looking for every reason to blame the other for the hurt they feel but never taking responsibility for the part they play in co creating this challenging reality. Somehow they seem to have forgotten that they’re just the two sides of the same coin… Human beings… they blossom when they come together as a team. Complementing each other so beautifully when they fully step into their unique archetypes. Women are so beautiful when they allow themselves to be feminine. Goddesses, healers, Mothers, pure, soft, tender, sensual, mystic, magic. They befriend the moon and stars they hold the power to give life itself they’re a portal for souls to manifest into this world. They just want to feel safe and seen Men are amazing when they embrace their healthy masculinity. Warriors and poets at the same time, protectors, fathers they just want to feel needed feel useful, to support, to protect and care. But they need to be fully loved for who they are, trusted and respected to blossom, trusted that even if they aren’t perfect and they havent all the answers yet, they’re doing their best to figure it out, protect and be of service for the ones they love. they’re parts of a whole and together they turn into something so beautiful. //// RAISE THE BAR   Its late at night, im once again sitting down trying to write a caption for a post that has been ready and waiting for more than a month now…      Why do I have to always set the standards so high for myself?       Who am i trying to impress?       Why is it so important?       Who actually cares?       Isn’t my art good enough as it is?       Why do I have to push perfectionism to a point that it isn’t healthy and benefiting to my creative process?      Am I trying to prevent myself from actually sharing something I love?      why cant I allow myself to post this with just one cheesy sentence underneath it? 

would it make a difference? 
   Why taking it so seriously?      But if I didn’t raised that bar that high would I be where I am today?       Would I be happier?       Shouldn’t making and sharing art be fun?       Will I ever reach that bar or keep raising it as soon as im barely touching it?      Would I feel like a failure if I lowered it a bit?…         Or would it be an act of self love?…         Next time I’ll lower the bar…

 FEED THE BEAST    Im the first to often distance myself from social medias and advise people around me to do the same.    Yet I cant deny the positive impact it had on my life and its potential for good   
knowing first hand how much good and damage social media can do im always caught inside that internal battle 
  Should I feed that beast or not ?     at the end of the day its a tool what you do with it is only up to you    I owe a lot to this platform it literally changed my life as still to this day i spend a majority of my time creating content that that will somehow end-up on here. It is a door to achieving our goal of creating a global movement for coral reefs with @coralgardeners     I try to be very mindful of what i share and people’s time and attention i try to not waste people time bring them value with something authentic, beautiful, kind, true, useful or funny.     Tell stories worth telling     Share art worth sharing     Look at good memes haha…       Keep paintin….

////111119  KEEP PAINTING… PART 2/3    I had to take responsibility for where I was… 
I had to drastically shift my perspective    I had to accept that the sun rises again every single fuckin day and that’s ok… its even better than ok its fuckin amazing  Every fuckin day you gotta be grateful just for the fact that you woke up you’ve been gifted another day here… Then choose joy, choose faith, choose love…    Pull yourself out of misery and you have to do it all over again the next day and that’s ok too…     And its not because you won yesterday that you’re assured to win today   You should not take anything for granted…  
love yourself enough to have the discipline to pull you out of misery, go do the workout, learn the new skill, read the damn book, sit down and meditate, stop ruminating the past, create a vision for your future.   Discipline is the strongest from of self love there is, its avoiding the shinny things for bigger rewards, its loving yourself enough to give yourself everything you’ve ever wanted.    It does get easier overtime, you can build momentum and if you’re consistent one day you wake up and realize that you now spend 90% of your time in gratitude, in love with life instead of 99% percent of your time in anxiety, victimisation ruminating the past and hopelessness…    Keep paintin….

////111119   KEEP PAINTING… PART 1/3      I really struggled to sit down and share / create art in the last 3 years       I closed myself quite a bit I was questioning everything, I was lost…      A Quarter of a century has already flown by…      I was looking for some magic thing that was going to come and save me from this dark place I had buried myself in.   Neither the medication, the relationship or the new therapy were goin to save me from this overwhelming anxiety and holpesness.   These things are helpful, but they were useless in my case for the simple reason that I had abandoned myself in the first place.       I’ts a hard pill to swallow but no one can or will save you but yourself.   No one can do the work for you.   
I got so tired of being miserable and hearing myself complaining all the time…
   Now its ok to acknowledge how life can suck sometime but by doing too much i turned into a victim and was giving all my power away to external things.      Ok bad things happens It sucks… So what ??? its the same thing for everyone.   In the end the only thing that matter is “what are you gonna do about it”.      Do I love myself enough to show up for myself, take responsibility and pull me out of this ? Well now yes. I do….      Keep paintin….
