@gpt100miler 160km over a beautiful, rugged landscape. 8000m of elevation gain over thousands of rock formations. In a place like Gariwerd you have to be ready for every kind of weather condition… A humid and overcast day turned dramatically as the predicted low front engulfed us as night fell. I relied heavily on my mandatory gear to survive the night. It rained all night, 80km/hr wind gusts with a chill of -11. The fog was dense and markers were hard to navigate. It’s so vivid still the intensity of it. Hours of wet shoes and socks caused both feet to become giant hot spots. The pain grew as the hours of the night went on, trading kms and conversations with @ryanjmacpherson89 @josephnunn7 @yunrustin @oakie.d The last 10hrs was a suffer fest, unsure if I’d see the finish. The sun rose and the rain stopped. 29hrs,42mins later from starting the @gpt100miler I found myself in Dunkeld, under the finish gantry I set up 5 days earlier. Proud to have endured mother nature’s wildest ride so far. Days on and it’s got me thinking? how much quicker can I go? See you next year. Huge thanks to my wife @maddi__f for crewing an all nighter. 💕 @coachcamcohort for getting me back in shape and durable to handle the effort 🙏🏽 @singletrack @asicsaustralia @fractelrunning for the support all year as part of the single track trail team. The Best Day. 04.10.25. A sneak peak of what’s to come by the incredibly talented @thesaltyshutter , who made two camera shy people feel like naturals. An afternoon that was kickstarted with the creamy vocals, serenading guitar and overall jaw-dropping talent of the amazing @michaeldunstan_ . And Bri, @ceremoniesbybri , who weaved our journey together into such an epic story of love, humour and tenderness. And for being so much more than a celebrant in the day, but the calming force for everyone’s emotions. More thanks to @jessicapavlovic for making myself, my beautiful sisters and clan of flower-girls look amazing. To our page boys for being so suave and handsome. To Luke, @decks_on , who made sure that our dance floor was the vibe and party we wanted our wedding to be all about. You kept things going long into the night and made sure it’s a night we’ll never forget. To @fork_n_knife for feeding everyone delicious food and being so flexible and easy-going when our timings went out the window. And to @wildivorymobilebar for providing their amazing service in their epic bar with so much happiness and their big smiles all night. And then of course a big thanks to everyone that was there to celebrate our day and make it so special. I would love to do it all again. And thanks to everyone for their kind words and messages. It’s about time we bloody got married 💛.

I opted out of racing the @hounslow_classic this year after picking up a virus 2 weeks before the event. Keeping the eyes firmly fixed on @gpt100miler . Love working for the @singletrack_events team once again putting on a show. Highlight of the weekend was jogging around the 17km course with the 2 young fellas making sure they had a smooth lap. So good to see them working together to get the job done. @fractelrunning

Been a fun build up to this years @hounslow_classic looking forward to pinning a bib on in a few weeks time. @fractelrunning @singletrack_events

If you’ve signed up to @gpt100miler you now have the opportunity to give back to the trail and the community. Over 6 weekends @singletrack along side @parksvic will be running trail work opportunities to help clear, trim and run through the last closed section of the Grampians Peak Trail. The trail won’t open without our help and the bonus is you get exclusive access to run the closed section before race day. I’ll be leading a group with @paddyrum on the weekend of 10th 11th 12th of October. Long runs Friday Saturday, Track maintenance Sunday. Lots of pizza in between. Took my first week off work in 3 years to kick off my @hounslow_classic @gpt100miler training with friends in the Blueys. 8 days, 148km, 10500m vert stacked. Felt stronger each day. Thanks @michaeldunstan_ for hosting an epic week of adventures.
