Spent a couple weeks on this one and enjoyed being a little less careful in the early stages. Not worrying about the outcome helps me focus on simply adding to the paper a bit at a time,Ā and sometimes results in something surprising!
I don't think this one is finished, but I'm going to move on and possibly revisit in the future.

Flower Friday! I decided on this one being a flower rather early in the process, which tends to add more stress since there's an expectation of the final product, but I like how this one turned out.
I've also been enjoying adding watercolor to my drawings, but this paper can't take it so I'm gonna get some actual watercolor paper and decent paints!

Been a bit busy lately but was able to do a couple doodles on some scrap pieces. I also played around with editing to add the borders and duplicating/mirroring for the second one... did this mostly to get a good aspect ratio but it looks cool too š

A lot of my drawing and painting starts out with no goal in mind. Initially random strokes can end up creating something, and often create "nothing", but the feeling of gradually fillingĀ out the paper is relaxing and meditative.
Added some marker to this one to create more depth and liked the way it turned out.

Learning how to digitize artwork has been interesting. For my last post the watercolor ended up almost cell shaded, which was cool but not intended. Figured it out for this one though!
