How do I get older and still be curious ?
I think about this a lot. When I was a kid picturing the type of adult I would be, I thought I wanted to be ~cool~ maybe that meant being more mysterious. Someone with sharper edges.
But lately I have been thinking of the flowers in my home. Soft, silly and sweet.
As someone who wears their heart on their sleeve I realized I share a lot in common with these flowers. Yet getting older I still find one of the hardest things to hold onto as an adult is wonder and curiosity.
To still find a way of falling in love with the world everyday.
This project was meant to feel like an interactive dream. A series of videos, colors, sounds, poems and ideas taking shape in different mediums. Scans from my CRT, paper cut outs, puppets and digital 3D models! Inviting you to wander through a shifting garden of growing thoughts🌻

Im writing this from the observation deck of the train as it heats up. They told us they might need to close down this car because it’s getting too hot. And even though little drops of sweat are collecting on my journal I dont want them to close it. I don’t want to miss a moment.
Ive been so lucky to have traveled so much this year, to beautiful places where I have made so many wonderful new friends (hey new friends!) and experienced so many new things!
Yet, how does life feel so full and so empty at the same time? Some days I cant help but feel like I’m doing it all wrong, or maybe I just need to eat something.

“EXPLOITATION” Music Video is out now!
Had an absolute blast on this one. Not only being able to direct a music video with puppets, felt animation, and confetti, but working with a band that makes such catchy heartfelt music. They were so incredible to work with, and we had so much fun brainstorming all sorts of wacky ideas. The whole experience was just so meaningful.
Also the biggest of shout outs to our DOP @reedellefson who pushed me out of my comfort zone and traveled back to Nebraska with me to do this. I had the best time working with him. Reed is an absolute real one who pulled off some absolutely insane stuff to make this video work.

SOLD OUT!!! 50 lucky Ryans now have my very first zine! The only copies that will ever be made! The response to them has been so exciting, overwhelming, unexpected and wonderful. They’re silly, fun and feature a bunch of little rhymes and art by me.
I used a mixture of watercolors, scanned elements and digital drawings to create textures and colors across the 10 page zine that would feel vibrant and exciting throughout.
thanks to the lovely Ryans of Texas who I met for the first time and those who I have now met multiple times who are quickly becoming great friends. You’re all the so cool and meeting up with you is truly something only Ryans will understand.
