“Sport can give you so much – whether that’s sailing or any sport.”
Lead 420 Pathway Coach Jess Libby shares why staying connected to the sport you love doesn’t always mean being the one out sailing.
Even though she sails less herself now, Jess has found a new way to stay part of the sport through coaching and supporting the next generation.
Her advice? No decision is ever final. There’s always the opportunity to change direction, explore a different path, and find what works for you.

After nearly 30 years at @marlowropes , Paul has seen the marine industry from every angle.
Starting with the company at just 21, he’s spent his career travelling the world, visiting incredible sailing destinations and working with everyone from superyachts to the smallest dinghies.
As Leisure Marine Sales Director at Marlow, what Paul enjoys most is meeting sailors and understanding what they need on the water – wherever they are in the world.
His message to anyone thinking about the industry? Go for it.
