I came to Morocco to photograph architecture and design, but somewhere between the riads, courtyards, tea rituals, handmade tiles, and the warm desert light… the experience became much more personal.
@ryaddyor was one of those places that slows you down enough to actually observe.
The shadows.
The silence.
The craftsmanship.
The imperfect textures.
The way light transforms a space throughout the day.
As a photographer, those are the places that stay with me the longest.

That’s what a refuge is not a place that protects you from the world but one that gives you back to yourself. Quietly. Without asking anything in return.
I think about this when I work with people and organizations too. The most important thing isn’t always what happens in the room. It’s what the room makes possible the quality of stillness it holds before anything begins.
