Lynn Weiss is retiring! Join us at the New Dundee Library Branch to celebrate 49 years of exceptional service at the Region of Waterloo Library!
📅Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (remarks at 11 a.m.)
📍New Dundee Branch
Lynn started working at the New Dundee Branch Library in 1977 and has been there through multiple relocations and many changes. Lynn started when typewriters and card catalogues were essential to her library work and has adapted throughout the years transitioning to using the online catalogue, promoting the library's eBooks alongside print materials, sharing the RWL-2-Go app with her patrons, and learning to use two-factor authentication!
Throughout it all, Lynn's biggest strength is her knowledge of her community and of her patrons of all ages. Her kindness and joyful spirit shine when she leads storytime to young children, encouraging their love for reading.
Lynns last day will be May 9.
