The Dining Table Conference : Konferensi Meja Makan — Before the Summons, There is Brotherhood.
Sunday, May 17, 2026. Block M, South Jakarta.
Four men. One table. One scarf. One mission.
What you see here isn’t just a casual meetup — this is what we call the “Konferensi Meja Makan” (the Dining Table Conference) — our internal version of the Round Table, where decisions are made with honesty, warmth, and accountability.
At Ikatan Alumni Informatika (IAIF) ITB , we believe in a principle that is both ancient and urgent:
Before escalation, there must be reconciliation.
When an issue arises — especially one involving fellow IAIF alumni — our internal team of three does not reach immediately for formal legal instruments. We sit down first.
We talk. We listen. We don’t Jugde. We give every chance for resolution through musyawarah (deliberation) and mufakat (consensus).
This is the kekeluargaan (family-first) approach. It is not weakness. It is wisdom.
But make no mistake:
If mediation fails — if consensus cannot be reached — escalation will follow.
A formal somasi (legal notice) is not a threat we make lightly. It is the final step of a process that begins with an open hand, not a closed fist.
We exhaust brotherhood before we invoke the law.
The Liverpool scarf on the table? A reminder that even in the fiercest competitions, there are rules. There is respect. And there is always a final whistle.
To those who need to hear this:
The table is still open. The chairs are still warm. Come talk before the paperwork does.
⚖️ Musyawarah first. Somasi when necessary.
