Built this through experience, studies, trial, error and figuring out what actually works in the studio.
Headroom is for anyone serious about their sound - DJs, artists, or producers who want to finish stronger tracks, shape better mixes, and build confidence in their process.
Itās the platform I wish I had starting out - developed in the @rvaudio studio, shaped by everything Iāve learned mixing & mastering records for clubs, labels, and vinyl.
Big thanks to everyone whoās supported this along the way. It genuinely means a lot.
Headroom is live.

šØšØTIED018 - Lose Endz - Mr. Chic EP w/ Velvet Velour remix out now šØšØ
Weāre back with our next vinyl-only release, timed for the spring and summer season!
The EP brings together four groove-led House & Tech House cuts from two emerging artists: three originals by Lose Endz, alongside a remix from Velvet Velour.
āMr. Chicā opens with a smooth combination of tight drums, warm chords, and soft pads. Subtle ā90s House references sit within a modern, functional framework, resulting in a steady, floor-focused track.
Velvet Velourās take on āMr. Chicā introduces his characteristic swing and rhythmic phrasing. While retaining core elements, the groove and structure are reshaped, giving the track a more dynamic, driving feel.
āChurrucaā moves deeper, built around a driving groove and evolving chords that gradually unfold into a Detroit-leaning progression. The arrangement develops patiently, creating a hypnotic, immersive feel.
On āLet The Acid Beginā, a rolling 303 line introduces a rawer edge. Vocal snippets and acid textures interact with a consistent groove, keeping the track direct and effective for later hours.
Across all four tracks, the EP stays grounded in groove and functionācrafted for extended play, from warm-up through to more intense moments on the floor.

Mix referencing isnāt just about what you hear - itās about what you see as well.

Hidden Frequencies presents:
HF005 - Alejo Ruiz (AR)
@alejoruizar enters the sequence.
Originating from Argentina, his work unfolds through controlled minimalism and restrained motion. A language built on repetition, tension and subtle deviation. Patterns emerge slowly, dissolve and reconfigure, where space acts as an active element rather than absence.
No excess.
Only function, pressure and detail.
Across HF005, Ruiz explores a reduced framework where groove becomes structure and structure becomes narrative.
Low end pulses carry shifting textures, while fragments of melody surface briefly before returning into the system.
Precise yet fluid. Designed for late transitions, dim rooms and extended states.
This is not about arrival.
It is about continuation.
HF005 moves within margins.
Between control and drift, clarity and erosion.
A focused statement for the catalogue.
Subtle, persistent and unresolved.
A couple of recent masters getting plays over the past weeks. Always interesting hearing how they translate on these systems š

VCA, FET, Optical & Vari-MU compressors all behave very differently - speed, tone, and character matter more than you might expect.
Understanding this changes how you mix.

My new studio is ready.
Iāve been wanting to move my main workspace just outside the city for a while, to minimize distractions and fully focus on production and engineering. This project took nearly 1.5 years from idea to reality, with the final acoustic installations completed over the past month.
Big thanks to @vicoustic for helping me design and implement the room exactly in line with my vision. Creating a space that not only sounds right, but also feels creatively inspiring has been a long-term goal of mine.
A studio is never truly finished, thereās still a long list of gear and refinements planned - but Iām excited to start working on new music here.
I also documented the process along the way and have video material from the build. If youād like to see a short video about it, let me know in the comments šš»
