The way the children, families and teachers of Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire have been treated is nothing short of disgraceful.
A half-built shell of a building on Dominick Street, on hold while kids grow up and move on.
I fought for this new building for fourteen years, we got the site, we got the funding, construction started, so it's bitterly disappointing that work on the site is now stalled.
We need the government to get a move on with the new tender and get the building back on track.

But with the rise of anti-immigrant sentiment, we’re beginning to lose that welcoming nature that once defined us.
I helped set up Drumcondra For All because I wanted to tackle this problem. Migrants need to be met with compassion. With empathy. With supports in terms of education and work.
A warm welcome turns strangers into friends. I hope you’ll stand with me and do the same.

A place to live, food on the table and a feeling of safety.

There's 40 properties on the derelict sites register in Dublin Central. You'd be able to snap up 40 properties in one morning if Government were serious about tackling this issue.
