Sorely needed connection, creativity, community and storytelling lit a deep burning flame at a time I, and we, needed it most. So many folks I didnāt get a chance to hug or chat with, and so many performances I missed - but even so, it was a mighty special weekend.
A big moment launching this wild new project. Feeling incredibly blessed to have the support of
@lostiimusic and
@tweakandtwang holding up the music and songs at my side. Thanks also to Joe Ferguson on sound - a fourth band member.
Other highlights included seeing Trouble in the Kitchen (there were tears),

Props too, to
@ollierow42 for the launch of their incredible book of poetry.
Charlie and I took the long road home, visiting studios of luthiers Joe Gallacher and Kev Bradley, and visual artists
@julie.bradley.art and
@mariesalinger in Beechworth.
An asylum ghost tour was also a spicy addition to the trip. As was getting locked inside the bin room at the apartment with
@lostiimusic - ah the life of music.
