Emerging from Toronto and Vancouver’s underground electronic scene, @rustek____ is a DJ and producer whose sound sits at the intersection of minimal tech house, peak-time techno, and groove-driven underground club music. His music career reflects classic underground progression, displaying longevity, consistency, label trust and growth. With a catalog dating back to the mid-2010s, Rustek has built a steady, credible discography across respected underground labels including Kraftek, Renesanz, Respekt Recordings, Unity Records, and Andhera platforms known for curating technically proficient, club-focused artists rather than mainstream trends. His sound can be recognized as groove-first percussion with tight, club-ready rhythm design... strong arrangement discipline, professional mixdowns, and the ability to adapt between techno and minimal/tech house without losing identity or compromising production workflow standards. @rustek____ is technically skilled with a decade-long presence in the scene. Rather than chasing trends, he’s been refining his sound identity... the kind that quietly earns respect from DJs, promoters, and listeners who understand the deeper layers of house and techno. And this leads to the introduction of his new project SOULTEK, which aligns his past experience with his new refined vision as he steps deeper into the world of minimal and deep tech with his partner @soulara.yvr - carving out a unique mid-ground sound that promised music that builds tension, expresses chemistry and moves listeners.
