Visited the birthplace of President James K. Polk just outside of Charlotte. Polk lived the first few years of his life there before moving to Tennessee.
Back in October we visited the original Pinkie Master’s bar in Savannah, Georgia, the site where Jimmy Carter announced his bid for the White House in 1976.
Visited the boyhood home of President Woodrow Wilson in Augusta, Georgia. Our 28th president…though the historical marker erroneously says he’s the 27th.
