Hey music lovers, it’s Haley and I’m making another roll call post! If you’re a musician, artist, or creative and want to be part of the RushMor Deep Dive video series, I am opening my emails again to get you in my calendar!
Here’s how it goes:
We’ll hang out while you dig through our bins, chat casually about your favorite records, your influences, and anything you’ve got coming up — new music, tour dates, events, or creative projects. No formal interview, just organic conversation and crate digging captured on video.
Filming takes about 2 hours total, including time to browse and talk naturally.

I got the honor to meet @kaylonraps and talk about his favorite artists. One thing that caught my attention prior to meeting was his Tiny Desk submission on YouTube. I could tell by his artistry and music that I wanted to have the opportunity to showcase his talent and learn more about him! Here is what he has shared with me! Also check out his ne single Adult Swim that was released today.
“I’m a Milwaukee-based artist focused on creating music that feels honest, reflective, and lasting. My sound blends hip-hop, R&B, and alternative elements, and I aim to make timeless music that reflects both the times we’re in and my personal experiences with the hope that it resonates with others on a deeper level. I’ve been actively performing and building my presence locally, including shows at Cactus Club and No Studios.
Right now I’m in the middle of a rollout for my upcoming EP Channels, with a new single “Adult Swim” leading the way. I’m currently finalizing the project and handling executive production, with a target completion date of April 30th.
The project explores different sides of who I am, love, ambition, vulnerability, and energy almost like moving through different states or frequencies. Each track lives in its own sonic space, which is something I’ve been really intentional about while creating it. It’s also setting the tone for my debut album Fell Asleep With The TV On, dropping early fall.”

Hailing from Milwaukee, PIG’S BLOOD have spent the last decade-plus unleashing their unrepentant strain of death metal upon the underground. While often grouped under the banner of war metal, their sound stretches far beyond any single label.
Drawing from the raw, militant fury of bands like Bestial Warlust and Blasphemy, PIG’S BLOOD fuses that chaotic savagery with a backbone indebted to early ’90s American legends such as Deicide, Order from Chaos, and Incantation.
The result is a malformed yet deliberate hybrid—bludgeoning battle hymns delivered with a sharp, serrated edge. Through sheer force and conviction, PIG’S BLOOD continue carving out their own brutal stronghold within the death metal underground.
