Celebrating 12 years of life today! Made my own birthday cake from scratch (chocolate espresso cake with salted caramel filling and salted caramel buttercream frosting)! Then I got a huge mango tree from @gardenviewnursery to plant and went to a stamp-making class at remainders-creative-reuse ! This summer I challenged myself to write, film, and edit a short. Even though I’m 11 and barely made the 6th grade cutoff, it was accepted in the #TeensofLA Film Festival and won honorable mention at the screening! 🏆 I’m so inspired by all the other amazing young filmmakers and I am grateful to the @lapubliclibrary for the opportunity!
