Sacramento, Feb 2025-Throughout my time of shooting photos & documenting sacramento I’ve always shot with film. But with recently this past year or 2 with prices skyrocketing in film to save money I’ve tried to shoot with digital cameras but couldn’t quite get that same feeling I received with shooting film. Plus going out in the streets lugging around a slr just made me feel too noticeable or carrying them just seemed too heavy after a while. With thinking to size down on a camera going with a Fujifilm also as time pasted was/is getting too expensive by the day to pull the trigger so I tried a couple pocketable digicams. First camera I tried,used for a while and recommend is the canon s100( for the price,quality,size). Then I wanted something with a bit more control when needed but also still pocketable keeping that film feel. Which lead me to the canon power shot G series cameras. These recent photos I have been posting have been all shot on the G11. A camera that has been able to capture everything Ive have wanted in a moment or through time with the feeling of having a dslr in my pocket on the go. Very easy to shoot what’s needed then going back to your day. The colors,detail and sharpness it brings has been unmatched with any camera I’ve owned outside of my daily film camera 90% of my photos have been shot/posted here on my page. I highly recommend checking out the canon power shot G series cameras if you are looking for something compact with a strong punch & still holding the film feel🔱

Had a good time riding and documenting the “SacTown Bike Ride Out” this past weekend. First time I’ve had the chance to ride that much, that far with that many people as one. From downtown to Arden to Oak park & back to downtown. I left it all in the streets and came back cramped up lol Well worth the ride, photos taken and connections made.
