In a time where the world feels divided, we chose the Middle East.Not for politics. Not for headlines.But for humanity.
Despite our differences, language, borders, and beliefs there are still things we all understand as a universal language. Which is Food. Music. Hospitality. The simple act of sitting at a table together and breaking bread.
This edition of Mix & Simmer was a reminder that culture is not conflict, culture is connection and something that can soften tension. That community needs to exist, even when the world feels heavy.
We gathered on a rooftop in Atlanta and created a small moment of unity where strangers became neighbors, neighbors became family. And for a few hours, the noise of the world got quieter and replaced by laughter, clinking glasses, music, and shared stories.
None of this happens alone. It takes a village. A beautiful, creative, generous village.

For Episode 5, we’ll be taking a journey through the Middle East, highlighting flavors, traditions, and inspiration from multiple countries across the region.
From layered spices and shared plates to music and storytelling, this region has one of the richest culinary cultures in the world!!
This one will be a unique experience. For the first time, instead of focusing on a single country, we’ll be exploring a wider landscape of flavors bringing together influences from across the Middle East for one night around the table. Highlighting Lebanon 🇱🇧 , Turkiye 🇹🇷, Afghanistan 🇦🇫, Armenia 🇦🇲 , and Palestine 🇵🇸.
As always, Mix & Simmer is more than just a dinner. It’s a space where food, music, art, and culture come together. Expect a multi-course menu, live performances, DJs setting the tone throughout the evening, and a room full of curious people coming together to experience something special.
