It’s such a beautiful and exciting journey that we are all on together 🫶 Created by Actors for Actors and in memory of the late Frances MacGechan, RUN AT IT SHOUTING is built to support and connect professional actors, and industry alike, through affordable training, workshops and events. In parallel to Run At It Shouting we run an Award-Winning production company called @flyingcoloursproductions which creates exciting, accessible, inclusive content both on film and stage since 2021! Last year we won Best UK Short Film at Raindance Film Festival and cast over 100 actors from Run At It Shouting workshops in Mark Ravenhill’s 10 New Comedies World Premiere at the Wilton’s Music Hall. Each play can be enjoyed by itself or as part of the sequence. Playwright Mark Ravenhill - Shopping and F-ing and The Cane (Royal Court), Mother Clap’s Molly House and Citizenship (National Theatre), Ben and Imo (Royal Shakespeare Company) - wrote a new play every month in 2024, working alongside professional actors at Run At It SHOUTING workshops. He also directs the readings. ✨🍁 A special journey ✨🍁 Thank you all for your incredible support. In 1999 Frances MacGechan named Run At It SHOUTING after the iconic cult movie ‘Withnail and I,’ written and directed by Bruce Robinson. Frances’ vision was to create a community that supported actors through performing arts courses and production. Sadly her passing in 2007 meant that everything stopped for Run At It Shouting. In 2020 Charlie MacGechan (her son) began a mission to bring back Run At It Shouting in loving memory of Frances, so her wishes of supporting and helping actors would continue and grow even after her passing. Bruce Robinson later became the Patron of the company. Now, Run At It SHOUTING is a leading platform for creating and producing industry workshops, entertainment and events. Flying Colours Productions is our sister company and we pride ourselves on creating exciting, accessible, inclusive content both on film and stage. Film highlights include the recent Raindance 2026 winning Short Film ‘There Will Be Soft Rains’, ‘Incompatible’ directed by Maxine Peak, ‘Monochromatic’ by Karen Bryson MBE and Exec produced alongside David Harewood.
