“LISTEN” by Gabriele Giannone is out now on @runa.vibrations and all digital platforms 🖤 Towards the end of last year I played an extended set in Ticino, Switzerland. After me, @gab.giannone closed the night with a truly impeccable set, something very unique, raw, and deeply personal. If I remember correctly, it was one of his very first performances. At the end of the night, he told me something that stayed with me: he had played only his own tracks! all unreleased. Then, flowing with emotion, he handed a USB stick filled with his own unreleased music. In that moment, I felt it clearly: this guy is one of those hundreds of hidden lights, the ones moving behind the scenes, with humility, carrying forward the essence of our music world. The kind of people who don’t chase the spotlight, who don’t seek empty fame, but create simply out of love for the music itself. From that universe he shared with me, I found these four tracks. Rooted in #classic and #acid techno, yet flowing deep into deep emotions. The first track features the voice of Isy @_lil_isy another great soul I had just met over dinner that same evening.
