🚨 CLINIC CANCELLED TONIGHT 🚨
Unfortunately, tonight’s clinic has been cancelled due to low attendance. Apparently everyone suddenly remembered they’re “busy” when faced with the possibility of getting absolutely wrecked by our coaches in front of their friends. 😅
Rumor has it:
• Some riders are still recovering from the last gate practice
• A few people heard sprints were involved and immediately developed seasonal allergies
• Others simply aren’t emotionally prepared to be told “ONE MORE LAP” 47 times
We’ll get another one on the calendar soon — hopefully after everyone regains their courage. 💪🚲

MIDTERM VACANCY
Rum River BMX Vice President, Dan Backsen, has made the decision to step away from his position. We want to sincerely thank Dan for the time, energy, and dedication he has given to Rum River BMX and our BMX community during his time on the Board. His contributions have been greatly appreciated, and we wish him all the best.
As a result, we will be accepting nominations for an interim Vice President. This position will serve until the general election this fall, when the Vice President position will again be open for election.
Anyone interested in being considered for the interim appointment should submit their nomination by 5:00 PM on May 27. Nominations can be emailed to our Secretary, MJ at [email protected].
Please note that midterm appointments differ from our general elected positions. Rather than a vote by the Association membership, interim appointments are discussed and voted on by the Rum River BMX Board of Directors.
Candidates will be notified by the final weekend of May so the appointed board member can attend the June board meeting.
