Pertunjukan _dramatic reading_ ini akan dilanjutkan dengan bincang naskah yang mendiskusikan perjalanan dalam memaknai kepulihan dari trauma dalam naskah-naskah yang dibacakan. When people asked about my birth plan on the beginning of my pregnancy, I had no clue. I don’t know what I want. Hospitals and doctors haven’t given me enough “sreg” feeling. I met bidan Reny @houseofbundabdg on the 6th month for a hypnobirthing class. I told her for labor I want to be in a place where i feel familiar, a place that can feel like home. After a lot of consideration and bidan Reny gave me faith (and lots of homework to prepare for the delivery) i decided that I wanted to have a homebirth.
Tale as told as time, not everything always go according to your plan🙂. God, the Universe, and this baby in my belly probably says otherwise. We ended up with a c- section in a hospital.
However, having 20 hours of intense contractions in my own home, in my room, is something to be grateful for. I couldn’t ask for a better support system than Bidan Reny and team. Thank you so much for all the support and your faith in me @houseofbundabdg
Most importantly is that we are both safe. Thank Goodness.
Also, how lucky we are we had @trirtn in town to capture this sacred moment. Her photos are divine 💓🙏🏽🫶🏼
