We started with a render and an idea years in the making.
A shop we want to buy from
a little whimsy, a lot of well-sourced pieces,
holistic, for kids, for home, for us.
Then we stripped it back.
Cleared everything out.
Dust, debris, old fittings gone in too many trucks to count.
Fixed the glass.
Let the light back in.
Walls got reworked.
Plaster, render, wallpaper, paint.
Layer by layer, it started to feel real.
We talked over details.
Went to B&Q too many times.
Painted again.
Then came sourcing.
Finding pieces, testing them in the space.
Some stayed, some didnât.
Slowly, its coming together.
Not like the render.
Better alhamdulilah.
Now itâs a shop.

Simple rhythmic remembrance of God and his messenger for toddlers and young children.
âDhikrâ is an Arabic term that refers to the remembrance or mention of God. It is a practice in Islam involving the repetition of phrases or names of God as a form of worship and mindfulness. The importance of baby dhikr, or engaging infants in the remembrance of God, is rooted in the desire to instil a connection with spirituality and faith from an early age.
Baby remembrance helps with spiritual development nurturing a positive environment. Increasing family bonding time and educationally enriching little ones.
