Some stories don’t ask to be told.
They ask to be remembered.
The Immortals began with one question that changed everything for us as filmmakers:
What remains of us when we are no longer here?
Not the trophies.
Not the milestones.
Not even the photographs.
What remains is the impact — the way we showed up for the people we loved, the resilience with which we faced life, the values we passed down without even realising it.
Over the last year, our team travelled across homes, memories and decades…
and we discovered something humbling:
Legacy is not built in grand moments — it is built quietly and consistently, in the way we live.
This project is a thank-you to the people who proved that.

To the team at
@dspmutualfund Mutual Fund —
thank you for supporting a documentary that isn’t driven by trends, but by meaning:
@kabhilsanya Sanyal • Mathew Kunjumon •
@the_manifested_soul Sarkar • Aparna Kulkarni • and the entire DSP family.
If this series moves even one person to call their parents, apologise first, chase their passion again, or show up for someone they love —
then we’ve created something worthwhile.
