In January 2025, I didn’t have a name. I didn’t have a team. I didn’t even have a business yet. What I did have was clarity. I knew I wanted to build an events business rooted in purpose. I knew I wanted to partner with a charity that had helped us personally. And I knew I wanted to create spaces that genuinely connected people. Since then, @ruma.events has become a living thing. From standing in Prague at Europe Congress, to Neville coming on board and representing us internationally in Antalya, to launching our first events and building a team around us, this year has unfolded in ways I couldn’t have planned. We’ve delivered multiple corporate and social events, partnered with an incredible charity @skc365 , I’ve joined on their development board and RUMA has expanded into new areas and built something that feels bigger than I could have planned. There’s so much coming next year, including something we’re launching tomorrow and while it feels overwhelming at times, it’s the best kind of overwhelm. Thank you to every client who trusted us, every guest who showed up, my husband for being my constant marketing drive, my dad for helping take the business global and everyone who’s cheered us on quietly from the sidelines.
