Olha is doing it again… but this time with a new photography workshop 👀📸
Over the past few years I’ve been sharing more about my work, the process behind my shoots, lighting setups, and the way I work with people in front of the cameras 📸
Naturally I started to gain more experience and the willingness to share it.
After receiving receiving more and more questions about photography, lighting and directing models, I decided to open a small photography course focused on two very important things:
lighting 💡 and working with a model. 💃
This course is designed for any person who has a camera, and who wants to feel more confident when photographing people and understand how light and direction shape an image.
What we will explore during the workshop 🧐:
• where to start the preparation for any shoot • mood board creation/analysing your references • lighting basics and studio practice • working with a model • directing poses and body language • how to break rules for better results • shooting outdoors with natural light • analysing and improving your work
The course is very practice focused, so we will spend most of the time shooting and experimenting with different lighting situations. (Studio Workshops, and Natural Lighting Practice)
The course is based on 4 Offline PRACTICAL workshop 📅 1, 2, 8, 9 May 2026
📍Hamrun, Malta
Small group — max 6 students, so everyone receives individual guidance and feedback.

Studio Living Room Photo studio
🔜 These past six months have been a real challenge for my creative career. Last Christmas, I lost my mother, and only now I’m starting to feel somewhat recovered from everything that followed.
It’s been a time filled with constant doubts, self-distraction, and the pressure that comes with self-employment.
Lately, I’ve noticed myself getting caught in perfectionism and struggling with motivation — the last one never was a real problem 👀 at least before. But I think it was obvious in the way how I was posting (so little), sometimes I felt completely powerless or even distracted that I was almost forgetting to continue with all my creative shoots and previous plans - I was keep planning , but wasn’t able to squeeze anything out of myself, so all ideas was remaining dead (as they was remaining only in my head or on the paper).
But despite it all, thankfully plans are slowly coming together, at least for the rest of this year… and something exciting is on the way. 🙏🏼

6 years passed; Im looking back on things that happened and can’t believe I ever had so much of enthusiasm and power 💥
6 years since I came to Malta. What I missed the most is my own dedication to photography, purity and intuition, which was keep leading me to such a fast development.
Yes indeed, now I have more skills, questions, awareness - what gives a “better” results, I guess. But are they? I do think that my work is more “commercial” now, the services becoming more advanced and the system of my business working better. There is no need to carry so many bags, there is no needs to fold and unfold the studio - I have a proper studio now.
However as often happens in life, with the comfort you have to say goodbye to some adventures and the way who you were once. It is Not a crisis, but what I missed the most is being so naive sometimes, as it was back there. Once you become a professional you treat your job differently, it’s a “long term relationship” now, with accepting all pluses and minuses, the job as it is. Beautiful job, but not naïve anymore💗
