Like I don’t even know what to say in this post to effectively share what I’m thinking. HEAT has meant absolutely everything to me these past 4 years. Getting to know and dance with these incredible people who are truly the only ones who could possibly understand what it is to be a student but also someone who has a need to fulfill that other side of them that craves athleticism and art…. there’s nothing else like it. From day-long runs to shows to comp to losing our minds at midnight rehearsals, there is no one I would have rather done it with than this team. It feels crazy to be saying goodbye. And goodbye to competitive dance where I’ve grown up and found myself as an artist. To HEAT, to friends I connected with through comp, to everyone who supported me throughout this chapter of my life, thank you. Long live HEAT I love you guys so much❤️❤️
