Hellooo!!!!! I hope you enjoy my little slideshow of the highlights (and lowlights) of my career thus far. This post is reflective of my ***personal*** experience of being a professional artist for 8 years and counting.
Professional dance always made me feel like I wasn't good enough and I wouldn't "make it" (they often told us that too lol). After training for years and full-time after high school, I had no idea that there were other career pathways other than musicals or commercial dancing. I am so grateful to have found burlesque- it has helped me understand that there is more to dance than just fitting in a mould and "making it". I now find that the art that I make and creativity I get to explore is more important than anything.
