Hi! I’m Brittney, owner of Ruby Cakes Cookies.
I make cookies and other yummy treats. It’s a creative outlet, therapy, and way to help support my family. I love being able to make something beautiful that tastes delicious and then share that love with YOU. I can’t believe this is my job!
Married for 23 years and have 4 kids. My oldest son is in college and works at Quarry Park Adventures. He makes me laugh every day. My next son is autistic, non speaking and needs lots of support and care. He’s my teddy bear snuggle buddy. My next son is in high school and loves wood-shop and running cross country. He did not get either of those interests from me, but I love that he is finding his passions. Our last kid is Ruby Kaye. She’s also autistic and loves to dance and create. We called her Ruby Cakes when she was a baby and the name stuck. I shortly started Ruby Cakes Cookies after she was born.
I love creating things: painting, cooking, calligraphy, sewing, etc. I hate horror movies and non chlorinated water. I like to sing in my kitchen while baking, concerts for one 🎶🎤 I’m a night owl and love to read fiction. Podcasts and audio books are the greatest things ever invented. I’m pretty introverted, but cohost a weekly podcast named Moms Talk Autism @momstalkautism I’ve been able to talk and meet some wonderful people through our show, it’s been an amazing experience.
Thanks for being here. Check out my website for ordering info and pop up events. Time to go pull something out of the oven…🍪👩🏼🍳♥️

Hello and Welcome friends!
We are four moms of neurodivergent families who connected via social media during the pandemic. We were isolated, alone, and struggling to take care of our children during such a difficult period of all of our lives.
We chatted, we videoed, we flew out to see each other. We felt seen and connected and leaned into our friendship and self made support system. We talked about sharing our experiences with other families like ours and BAM, the Moms Talk Autism Podcast came to life.
This platform is very important to us. We share our ups and downs and do not take your trust and participation for granted. We are so glad you are here and we hope listening to us will help you and your family.
We are thrilled to now be a part of the BLEAV podcast team. We are hoping to reach more and more families out there!
Love,
Brittney, Shannon, Tash, and Jean
