This post is an ode to the prep work for @otherbennetsistertv . Many a letter hand folded, stamped and aged, lots of sketches and research for scenes later cut. I love it all, I love the odd jobs and monotonous ones. Being a part of the process is a blessing.
Mary's sketchbook in @otherbennetsistertv . I handmade sketchbooks for Mary, Mr Hayward and Mr & Mrs Gardiner for when they headed to the lakes. βοΈβοΈ
Poor Mary Bennet and her dodgy painting, hoping to inspire the children. Trickier to create than I thought it would be, had a laugh trying to paint skew-whiff still lifes. All @otherbennetsistertv episodes available now!
I made animal factoid cards to dress into @otherbennetsistertv children's nursery. My art dept assistant role early on was research focused and I loved discovering toys of the time or the complex meanings behind flowers. The job was a great combo of research and creation.

Massively grateful to develop my graphics skills on @otherbennetsistertv with such fab mentors and now life long friends @sophiecowdreyart & @elberrygraphics π°πποΈποΈ Pictured are some soiree invites created for mantle piece dressing.
The rumours are true, I was Art Dept Assistant on @otherbennetsistertv and created graphics for the haberdasher where Mary picks her new dress fabrics π
Not allowed to show you my TV work yet! (Soon!!) So for now here's my latest painting "Recce", submitted to the @royalacademyarts Summer Exhibition open call. Over the past year, I've been trying to explore how to document and promote interconnectedness and community through 2D work and social gatherings. Serendipitously, the exhibition theme this year is "interconnectedness" so I created this with my family's input on the size and location of these circles which I then connected together.
Photo 2 features a ghost of me and a intrigued viewer.

At the end of 2025, as well as a 2026 year calendar for the wall, I've made myself a bingo sheet with rippable rewards at the bottom. Looking forward to adding more whimsy into next year and I'm so thankful for all the work I've done this year (so much I can't post yet, keep an eye out!) β€οΈ
