The shells THE SHELLS they’re ALIVE
Every time I saw a little shell scooting down the beach I felt like I was dreaming, hermit shy little CUTIES I love them.
I didn’t take any shells with me but everyday I went and gathered special ones (I left them on the beach in case any of the hermits wanted a new home)
Crabs really have such strong personalities, some are so confident and gather in groups some would sense I was watching them and shrink into their shell, solo riders
When I would meditate on the beach I would feel curious ones climb on me give me a little pinch (not painful) trying to figure out WHAT I am
It is important to leave their homes on the beach xx
This clown fish came and protected their spot every time we went to the manta cleaning station
Judging by the size of them they are female, the female usually rules the roost of the anemone and that means squaring up to any visitors getting too close i.e. moi

This is snake fruit 🍋🟩 🐍
It tastes like sour melon, maybe a bit of apple, all slightly fermented - very unusual and dry when you first try, you really come around to the taste and texture. Eventually you get the juiciness of the snake
Big shoals of fish, these were always so cooool to see 🌊🩵🪸🪸
You would sometimes just be totally surrounded by teeny fish, or big ones, they can come to you as they’re swimming away from a predator

Everything feels so right under water, breathing under water allows you to understand how life lives, prospers and THRIVES, the colours of the beings are beyond beauty I imagined possible in our waking life 🫧🪸

Diving is a fairytale dream
We were in Batanta - say it out loud it’s so satisfying to SAY, it’s got good rhythm and really good diving
This dive was like swimming in a fairytale, it had the same feeling as an enchanted forest 🌳
The visibility was the worst we had but I absolutely loved it, it kept morphing from totally green and murky to blue with plankton flying through it like shooting stars
We had to swim through big boulders, like trenches or thick bushes
This is only a little snippet but even in the murky mystical water the colours and life were phenomenal
