A year ago, I got really into Jesus. I had gone to a church service, felt the presence of people’s faith and was moved. I didn’t start practicing any religion - I just felt touched by the spirit and excitement. In my somewhat Christian revival and exploration I became very interested with Eve- The Original Sinner.
Rebekah and I had begun a photo series last year and have taken a wide collection of photos together. We decided we needed to get out and take some Eve pictures. Bare and in the woods. We left the city, hopped in a car and made our way upstate. Unexpectedly landing our selves in a barren apple orchard.
A taste of our version of Eve, the renegade. Eve was made from a rib, which is to say she was made from something already broken and already living.
Opening @celine by @phoebephilo fall winter 2011. I look back on this now, a little more grown, and feel so grateful and proud to have got to be apart of moments like this 🤍
