There was two major factors as to why these cakes aren’t as crisp as I’d like .. excuses—valid ones however + I would also like to add that one of them was out of my control
Kick Me shirt i made in 2023 using iron-on paper to apply a printed scan of a kick me sign I wrote. Applied to the back of an old Hanes I had. I felt like pure shite mate : misunderstood, bullied, + stuck. All big feelings, all big feelings that make you feel like a kid. And I was lowkey Ana so I fit into this kids T-shirt !!!
Small notion of accountability as I identified with the implications of making this shirt for myself / wearing it : I put the target on my back 💘 These days I wear a smile on my face instead
Thinking about this fountain I made in 2023 (?). Time of my life where I kept making life-sized cut-outs of myself whilst in arts college — this one is me crying forever.
Never shared it. I chose to leave the steel raw so it could react naturally with the water: at the time I was thinking about how my perpetual inner anguish may or may not leave a permanent scar on my body, lowkey inspired by DestinyBlue on Deviantart ifykyk … Even now I feel scared to cry at times because what happens if the tears never run out ? I love this sculpture of mine , it’s depressing yet funny
It now lives in my living room and it kind of scares me every time I enter the front door

When in doubt, I draw spiderwebs 🕸️ Layered so much graphite the light from the scanner reflected on the text but alas a moment shall never once be the same
