if you’re not familiar with the 24 hour plays, you should be! me and @kevinpakr wrote a brand new musical overnight and 12 hours later it was produced by our incredible collaborators at an off-Broadway theatre. production photos incoming! yes I am posting twice! my self confidence is reaching impossible heights!
also, for anyone who expressed concern or excitement that I was in New York because I moved there, I hate/love to break it to you that Chicago is the best city in the world and you will have to pry me away from her with a crowbar 🥰 but I hope to be back in nyc someday soon for another visit :)
I had the best night of my life performing The Best Damn Thing and it went to my head and then the gods immediately struck me down with covid for my hubris. the silver living is I’ve had a good few days in quarantine to contemplate how insanely lucky and grateful I am to be a part of the best damn play ever written with the best damn songs ever written, to work with rock stars that make me feel like a rock star too, and to go back to my silly smart stupid 16 year old self and tell her I love her. 🩸🔪🎸
and it was ALL IN A BOOKSTORE! I CAN’T GET OVER THAT ACTUALLY!!
