FREE GÖRLI – Rave Against the Zaun brings together a selection of artists deeply connected to Berlin’s queer, techno and underground scene.
Rubi represents the sound of HOST: direct, physical and emotional techno, moving between peak-time energy and raw deep textures. He has played events such as Darklands, Folsom, PiG Party and Fusion Festival.
Juan Del Chambo is a Venezuelan DJ and producer based between Cologne and Berlin. Known from Artheater Köln and PiepShow at KitKat, his sound blends hard groove, hard trance and old-school rave energy.
Lale Hepborn, resident of PiepShow at KitKat Berlin, moves between acid techno, melodic techno and darker club-driven sounds.
Redark brings a darker and more industrial energy, combining emotional tension, dark techno and hard club elements.
Schalltrichter is a Berlin-based DJ moving between house and techno, known from HOST Berlin and Brutaz.
With speakers such as Jacky-Oh Weinhaus and Bianca Ciocca, the day connects music, protest, community and collective care for the park.

On May 1st, we come together for music, freedom, and an open Görlitzer Park.
The fence solves nothing. Even though construction already started in March, it does not fix the real problems. It only pushes people away, closes public space, and takes another piece of Berlin’s open culture.
We want to show that Görli can work differently: with responsibility, respect, music, solidarity, and a community that refuses to give this space up.

Heute ist mein 16-jähriges Jubiläum in Berlin. 🇩🇪
Früher habe ich diesen Tag immer gefeiert.
Mit Freunden.
Mit Menschen, die sich wirklich gemeldet haben.
Heute?
Ein Herz.
Ein Like.
Und dann geht das Leben weiter im Feed.
Vielleicht ist das einfach die Zeit, in der wir leben.
Vielleicht verbringen wir alle zu viel Zeit im Internet.
Und verlieren dabei die kleinen, echten Momente.
Irgendwie fühlt sich das traurig an.
Nicht, weil ich Aufmerksamkeit brauche –
sondern weil ich merke,
wie sich Verbindungen verändert haben.
16 Jahre in dieser Stadt…
und dieses Jahr interessiert es gefühlt niemanden.
Früher haben Menschen geschrieben.
Heute gibt es Reaktionen.
Und ich frage mich:
Ist das wirklich die Entwicklung, die wir wollen?
Vielleicht liegt die Antwort auch bei mir.
Vielleicht ist es Zeit, Dinge anders zu sehen.
Oder neue Wege zu gehen.
Aber eins weiß ich:
Echte Verbindung kann man nicht liken.
