At Rebuilding Together North Jersey, every repair is about more than fixing a house — it’s about standing beside our neighbors for the long haul. 🇺🇸❤️
We were honored to assist U.S. Veteran Rebecca with critical exterior repairs to her home in 2026, including the complete replacement of kitchen windows, damaged sheathing, and siding on a major section of the property.
These repairs are helping make her home safer, healthier, and more secure — and this is only the beginning. More work is still to come, and we’re proud to continue supporting Rebecca on this journey.

From March 30 to April 25, volunteers showed up again and again—completing major sheetrock work throughout the living room, bedroom, and kitchen. Thank you so much to Renewal By Anderson NJ/NY Metro for sponsoring this home and sending many volunteers over the course of 1 to 2 months to get the job done!
Also, a very special thank you to The Junior League of Bergen County for sending many volunteeers and to Janet Kovats and her team at @rba.windows.njny for making enough snack packs for every volunteer at every job site! Rebuilding Together helps our neighbors by providing critical home repairs that improve safety and living conditions. Today on National Rebuilding Day, volunteers and partners from across Northern New Jersey came together to be there for one another and give back in such a meaningful way. We had the chance to visit both a home in Hillsdale and in Garfield where it was incredible to see all who rolled up their sleeves to help make a difference! On Saturday, April 18, 2026, Rebuilding Together North Jersey will be working in Englewood and Garfield, NJ—and we need volunteers to help us deliver critical home repairs for families in need.
We are looking for volunteers as young as 16 to complete tasks such as landscaping, painting and additional handyman work.
Your time and effort help create safe, healthy homes for our elderly, veterans and neighbors in need.
