PARAĆBA TOURMALINE
A rare variety of tourmalineāalso known as copper-bearing tourmalineāfamous for its vivid, glowing blue-green color. Its unique hue is caused by trace elements like copper and manganese, an exceptional combination in gemstones.
Originally discovered in Brazil, ParaĆba tourmalines are now also found in Nigeria and Mozambique. The most electric, neon-blue material comes from Brazil, while African sources typically produce stones with slightly lower saturation, often shifting toward aqua-green tones.
This one comes from Mozambique. Cut for a client ā not for sale.
