Audi S3 8v 2.0TSI 7speed DSG in for stage 2 custom dyno tuning session. Running a Trackslag performance downpipe into stock resonated cat back exhaust, D088 intercooler and Ramair induction kit with intake elbow and pipe.

AUDI S3 8P 2.0TFSI CDL 6MT in for stage 2 tuning session with inlet cleaning and injector testing. This came in with really bad misfire, which was due to fault injector with failed filter baskets blocking up the nozzles. Luckily Callum at The Fuel Injector Clinic managed to fully recover all the injectors with their Advanced Cleaning process. Once the car was running perfectly, we strapped in on to the dyno for a stage 2 custom tuning session. The card had previously been mapped elsewhere, but wasn't ticking all the boxes. Now its more fun with additional performance on tap!

2016 Golf Mk7R 2.0TSi DSG booked in for stage2 custom dyno tuning session. We previously mapped this to stage 1 a few years ago for the previous owner. Now the new owner has added a perfect down pipe and intercooler, along with a resonated valved cat back Remus exhaust.

Golf ED30 DSG booked in with us, to investigate why it's driving so badly, feeling do slow and to remove nasty pops and bangs which was annoying the new owner. This setup is running a Turbos Techics k04 hybrid turbo, and was just flat and boring, all or nothing throttle. The hardware turned out to be absolutely fine, the engine ecu and tcu maps was very poor and lacking, seems all the effort went into making noise. The previous mapping was running a 1.5bar boost request limiter but the rest of the mapping was constantly fighting with the limiter. It looked like a map made for a bwa to protect the rods being used on a byd with a hybrid? It was that bad, we initially thought the turbo had a seized wastegate bush, but this turbo was running a genuine hotside and was perfect, next we thought the non genuine n75 was to blame, but again it was working correctly. So we just started from scratch with the engine and gearbox mapping getting rid of all the noise gimmicks added to them, and then just concentrating on the performance, drivabilty and quality from the mapping session. Unfortunately the low down torque /boost had to be capped due to this version turbo running into compressor surge. But it did well at the top end. We didn't push it hard there was another 30-35hp available at the top end . Hopefully this time next week this ED30 should be zooming around the Ring.

Audi TTS dropped off with us for fault finding after other garages gave up. The car would randomly go into limp mode and flag up EPC in the dash with a single too low fault code. This started soon after the customer had a thermostat fitted elsewhere. We initially suspected that the wire had been trapped and damaged, but everything seemed intact and undamaged. A little more investigation and Alex soon found out the cause. One of the loom plugs underneath the inlet manifold was full of coolant! A quick clean up and drying out, its now running absolutely perfect 👌

Audi S3 8v 2.0TSI DSG 7speed in for custom dyno tuning session. Previously tuned to stage 2 elsewhere with a 420hp dyno graph, but the owner wasn't convinced and didn't like the way the car drove. So he booked in with us to sort it out for him. Performance downpipe Turbo back resonated valved exhaust. Upgraded intercooler Upgraded intake pipe and elbow. Performance filter Stock air box with blanking panel.

Seat Leon Cupra K1 2.0TFSI in for inlet cleaning, injector testing and custom stage 1 tuning session. Unfortunately on the day it was booked in we couldn't get it on the dyno for tuning. The was due to a hardware issue, the vvt would not latch on and was sitting at 28kw / 10kw on block 91. We could seeing that a poor attempt at doing a cam chain and tensioner had been carried out previously. The alarms bells rang when we saw thick block silicone sealant bulging out from between the vvt side case. The customer took a train home and left the car with us to investigate and fix. The vvt chain has been fitted two teeth out, and the oil passages were clogged up with oil. Alex managed to find time between jobs during last week to put the mess right and get everything tested for it was fit for tuning.

Golf mk7.5R 2.0TSI DSG in for stage 2 ecu and tcu custom tuning session. Unfortunately the rear box exhaust was choking the top end performance potential. So instead of trying to force numbers for the sake of numbers, we left the tuning where it was happy and most efficient, especially with the old is38 on there.

Seat Leon Cupra 290 2.0TSI OPF dsg in for stage 1 ecu and tcu tuning session. Came in with a major boost leak which could have been there for around a year. As soon as the leak was fixed the car filled the dyno cell up with thick clouds or white/grey smoke during the coast down. Initially we thought it was the turbo, but we managed many more runs, and after each run the smoke would clear up, until there was no more smoke. We believe that the boost leak had caused the boost pipes to puddle with oil, and now it's boosting and running correctly its clearing is self out. It performed absolutely flawless on the road testing and setup. It performed absolutely flawless on the road testing and setup.

Minty Mk5.. And another nasty pops and bangs removal service lol. This stage 2 Golf Mk5 GTI 2.0TFSI BWA travelled all the way from the Jersey island for a full health check, thermostat, inlet cleaning, injector testing and a custom stage 2 dyno tuning session. Previously tuned elsewhere with yet again an horrendous gimmick pops and bangs map, which was enough to split ear drums and made the car absolutely impossible to drive over 3000rpm at part throttle, without jerking and constantly banging. The mapping itself on the car wasn't too bad, just let down by a really poor attempt to make noise. Now setup with a shed loads of additional torque on tap, throughout the midrange torque really bring the car alive and make it fun and addictive to drive. Linear throttle with our unique 5 switchable boost profiles, stock power map 1 to full power and torque map 5. Enchanced ASR traction control, An nice very subtle over run burbling which sounds nice and natural, not embarrassing like the previous exhaust sound track. Halfway through tuning we ran into misfires, but the customer being mechanical minded had a spare pack of coil pack in the boot, so we were quickly back up tuning. The massive post tuning grin on the customers face said it all, we seem to have hit the nail on the head again.
