it’s been a year since yeon died, im a little late in writing this post, i wanted to finish a piece i’ve been working on for you, who knew it would take the whole year?
we first met at a party, you were filming and photographing everything. you asked me about my camera and my photos, i asked why you documenting absolutely everything, you replying ‘for my reference’, something id hear you say often over the coming months haha. i’d come to learn about the incredible artist you were, about your aspirations for film making, and we would make art together and fall in love. i still have your videos, i still have your notebooks, i still have all the small things time together leaves about. even now ill open a random journal i thought was untouched and ill find some note or scribble or a picture of a friend, a random bit about how life is hard but you’ve finally found love. i miss you so much, i love you so much. when we would walk about id turn around sometimes and find you gone, stopped into a store or grabbing a flyer ‘for your reference’ or talking to an interesting stranger filming all they said, your curiosity and love for the world was so apparent and infectious. when you had to move away i drove you and helped you move, we agreed we needed time and space and you’d be okay and not to worry. i thought with space and time we could turn back to each other, but when i turned back you were gone
i love you forever yeon, i wish so many things and live with so many regrets, i feel and see you in and all around me all the time and you are always in my thoughts, i am forever grateful for the time we shared together, i know i’ll see you again, until then my love 🪽#yeoncore forever
thank you to all my friends who got me through this year, i wouldn’t have made it without you ❤️
HUMAN RESOURCE 🔩 FOR TOKEN MAG ISSUE II: BODY AS A MACHINE*
A fashion visual story within our most recent issue, “Body as a Machine”. Inspired by the dystopian surrealism of Brazil (1985) and the totalitarian paranoia of George Orwell’s 1984, Human Resource is a satirical photoshoot that critiques the suppressive role of technology within capitalist structures through unconventional office wear and an unsettling setting. Pre-order Body as a Machine* to see the full shoot 🧠

Concrete Husband - Your Bitter Tears. Now available for streaming and download worldwide via Aversion.
This album is a journey into the heart of dramatic human experience. Drawing directly from Rainer Fassbinder’s film’s claustrophobic intensity and the raw emotional landscape of its characters. In this 6-track album, Concrete Husband masterfully translates the film’s themes of power dynamics, destructive love, and the ultimate fragility of the human spirit into a relentless and deeply affecting electronic soundscape. Each track on “Your Bitter Tears” feels like a scene unfolding, a powerful narrative told through the language of pure sound.
Track list:
1. Venus
2. It All Depends
3. Conditionally Loved
4. Reality Dissolves
5. Beg On Your Knees
6. A Baroque Mural
