At the center of the climate rally stood Greta Thunberg, gripping the microphone like the fate of humanity itself depended on it. Technically, it did. She took a deep breath, ready to deliver yet another passionate speech about carbon emissions, melting glaciers, and humanity’s collective addiction to destroying its only habitable planet.
“WE MUST ACT NOW—”
Unfortunately, at that exact moment, a Porsche 911 GT3 RS screamed past the crowd with the subtlety of a fighter jet having a midlife crisis.
RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
The sound echoed through the city streets, bounced off the buildings, shook nearby pigeons into another dimension, and completely erased whatever Greta had just said. Somewhere in the distance, a car enthusiast whispered with tears in his eyes, “What a beautiful exhaust note.”
Greta tried again.
“The planet is reaching a critical—”
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Another GT3 RS launch. Louder this time. Possibly in Sport Plus mode. A child dropped his ice cream. An old man’s smartwatch detected an earthquake. Three influencers immediately turned their phones away from Greta and toward the Porsche.
One livestream caption read:
“OMG listen to this beast 🔥🔥🔥”
Meanwhile, Greta continued speaking passionately about renewable energy to approximately four confused squirrels and one journalist pretending to listen while secretly checking used supercar prices online.
To be fair, even without the Porsche noise, nobody was really paying attention anyway. Half the crowd was scrolling TikTok. The other half was debating whether recycling one plastic bottle cancels out a weekend trip to Dubai in private jet. Humanity had apparently decided that the Earth collapsing in 80 years was a “future people problem.”
Still, Greta persisted bravely, her words battling against the glorious mechanical symphony of 9000 RPM combustion engineering.
And honestly, the planet never stood a chance against a naturally aspirated flat-six.
