The setback is ALWAYS a setup for something greater!!! I fully believe God and our guardian angels were looking out for us last night.
Story time: we had a reservation for a certain restaurant (not even worth mentioning 👎🏼) and ended up being treated very rudely and coldly by the hostess with no remorse. We ended up going to Circa instead to check out Barry’s Steakhouse on the off chance we would be able to rectify our special evening. We were right away met with hospitality, kindness, and because Randel knew some of the people working there (surprisingly but not surprisingly 😂), they surprised us with free drinks and a free anniversary dessert that they’re MOST known for, the Sticky Toffee Butter Cake. 🤤🍰 The vibes were immaculate and what did me in was the DJing playing Risk It All by Bruno Mars. 🥹😭❤️ Do you believe in signs? I truly believe now more than ever that what is meant to be for us will be, just as God intended. Our night ended up being so much better than we could’ve ever imagined. Forever grateful, forever blessed.

Let me tell you: this was worth EVERY penny. Jun, Reyna, and grandma danced, enjoyed, and we got to say hello to some incredible people from where we were sitting (@leonthomas , @swagpitt )!!!! We couldn’t have gotten better seats in the house if we tried. 🥰 Many people came up to our family to give our kiddos compliments for being so adorable and well behaved. If you’re ever thinking of having a family concert night with yours kids in tow: DO IT!!!! Core memories were made and I’m so thankful we are able to give grandma and our children these special moments together. 😍🥰 Bruno Mars, you’re all that and a bag of chips!!!! Bravo!!!! 👏🏼💐
