One year ago, the fires came.

RSG 3-D was proud to co-host a kickoff this last Saturday for our Resilient Palisades initiative, bringing together community members, architects, builders and fire safety experts to discuss rebuilding Pacific Palisades wildfire-resilient.
As a manufacturer of structural building elements, we believe that resilience is the foundation of sustainability. The event showcased how our panel system revolutionizes construction and protects communities from the increasing threat of wildfires, earthquakes and other natural and climate driven disasters.
Key highlights from the event:
Rebuilding wildfire-resilient: Randy Garner, GKV Architects principle and RSG 3-D Board Member showcased architecture and building process strategies utilizing RSG 3-D’s panel system as a key to fireproof construction.
RSG 3-D Resilient Panel System: Ken Calligar, CEO of RSG 3-D, presented the benefits of our structural building panel system, emphasizing its use for walls, floors, and roofs and showcasing how the system simplifies construction while providing superior protection.
Expert Wildfire Insights: Napa County Fire Administrator and RSG 3-D Board Member David Shew shared his expertise on fire behavior and mitigating structure ignition.
Saturday’s kickoff event marks the beginning of Resilient Palisades, a community-driven rebuilding initiative. Over the coming weeks and months we’re excited to document and share our progress with GKV Architects step-by-step through the rebuilding journey, and as we go we’ll dive into the process and benefits of building resilient with RSG 3-D.
