Where a child starts should never limit where they can go. What began as small, overlooked spaces has now become a foundation for possibility. This wasn’t just about restoring buildings, it was about restoring beginnings, dignity, and hope. Because when we improve the basics, everything else begins to follow. One thoughtful change can create thousands of brighter tomorrows. And every child deserves nothing less than a stronger, better start. #rsbfoundation #anganwadi #anganwadirepair

They study science. But rarely experience it. * No experiments * No tinkering * No real understanding This is the gap in many rural schools of Dharwad. And this is what RSB Foundation is solving.Through the Tinkering Lab & Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Kit Program Students get hands-on science initiative across 8 rural government and aided schools thus reaching 400+ students (Classes 6 to 8) The goal: Move from memorization to experiential learning Building students who can think independently, solve problems, and innovate. Here’s how it works: • Tinkering Labs in schools Motors, circuits, sensors, solar kits, tools, safety gear Real innovation spaces • DIY Kits for students Circuits, measurement, aerodynamics, simple machines • Teacher & tutor training Ensuring tools are used in classrooms • Weekly experiment sessions Students build, test, and learn in teams aligned with their syllabus • Lab journals & assessments Students document observations and learning • Annual Tinkering & Science Expo Students present projects to parents and the community The impact is measurable: • Better understanding of science and math • Stronger problem-solving skills • Higher participation and attendance • Students building and presenting their own models • Teachers adopting hands-on methods • Stronger STEM foundation • Improved teamwork and communication • Increased confidence and creativity All tracked through: * Baseline and endline tests (twice a year) * Weekly lab tracking * Monthly teacher feedback * Annual expo evaluations Aligned with NEP 2020, this initiative focuses on experiential, skill-based learning. Driven by: * RSB Foundation (planning and monitoring) * Teachers and tutors (execution) * Students (core participants) * Parents and community (engagement) * Volunteers (training support) This is not just about adding labs. It is about changing how learning happens. Because when students can do, they do not just learn They understand. They build. They believe they can. #rsbfoundation #learning #ruralschool #dharwad

Reviving land. Restoring livelihoods. Growing hope. This Earth Day, we’re reminded that real change begins on the ground, quite literally. Through Project Krushak, RSB Foundation is working in the village of Nandivali to nurture the Earth while empowering the farmers who depend on it every day. Because sustainability is not just about conserving resources. It’s about creating systems where communities can thrive alongside nature. From reviving land to strengthening rural livelihoods, this initiative is a step towards a more balanced and resilient future. Grateful to everyone on the ground making this possible, and to the farmers who continue to lead the way with their resilience and commitment. The work continues. #earthday #sustainability #ruraldevelopment #farmers #socialimpact

When students start building instead of just memorizing, you know something is working. We hosted the RSB Foundation Tinkering Lab Exhibition in 2026 on 8th April at KNK Girls High School, Dharwad. -39 students. -9 schools. -Classes 6 to 8. All coming together to showcase what they built. This exhibition is part of our Tinkering Lab & DIY Kit Program, focused on bringing hands-on learning, scientific thinking, and problem-solving to rural schools. 15 working projects were presented: Air quality systems, RFID models, automatic plant watering, home automation, sensor-based tools, fire alarms, and more. Not theory. Real applications. Students explained their models with confidence, many for the very first time. Projects were evaluated by Dr. Suryaprakash (IIT Dharwad), in the presence of Mr. S.M. Hudedamani, Mr. Chetan Kusalkar, and Mr. Raghavendra Patil. Top projects included: – Ultrasonic Measuring Tool (1st), Vaishnavi & Suprita – Automatic Plant Watering (2nd), Adarsh & Shashank – Touch Sensor System (3rd), Anjali & Soubhagya But beyond winners, the real impact was clear: -Students thinking, building, and solving. -Improved confidence and communication. -Stronger teamwork and curiosity. Because when learning becomes hands-on, it stops being a subject. It becomes an experience. #resbfoundation #exhibition #studentdevelopment #realimpact

In Lucknow’s slum communities, many children grow up without access to proper education. Often, we hear people say, “Education is available everywhere.” But what they don’t see is the reality behind it: Children with no study environment at home. Parents who are unable to guide them academically. Frequent dropouts due to lack of support. Homes affected by instability, alcoholism, and financial struggles. For many of these children, learning stops before it even begins. This is where Project Vidya by RSB Foundation steps in. Through 18 Bal Sanskar Kendras, 600 children from Classes 1 to 7 are receiving structured academic support. Every evening, these centres become safe learning spaces. Where children study English, Maths, and Science. Where they learn discipline, values, and confidence. But the impact goes beyond classrooms. Children participate in cultural activities, attend life-skill workshops, and engage in sessions that build personality and awareness. Parents are also involved through regular meetings, helping create a stronger support system at home. One such transformation is seen in Belha Basti. A community near the railway line with no basic facilities. Where education was never a priority. Today, a centre that started with 10–12 children now supports 30–40 students regularly. Children are going to school. They are learning, growing, and becoming aware. Anamika, a student from the same community, now teaches at the centre while pursuing her college education. Even the environment at home is changing. A bhajan group for parents has helped reduce alcohol consumption. Because when education enters a community, it doesn’t just change students. It changes families. It changes mindsets. It changes the future. What do you think is the biggest barrier to education today? (education in slums, child education india, ngos in lucknow, education for underprivileged children, community learning centers, bal sanskar kendras, evening study support, rural education challenges, urban poverty education) #educationforall #slumeducation #socialimpact #rsbfoundation t #ngoindia

In Pune’s slum communities, many children grow up without the basics to learn. No study space. No guidance. That’s where Project Utthan by RSB Foundation steps in 10+ community study centres. 300+ students are learning every day. But it’s not just academics: ✨ Life skills ✨ Confidence building ✨ Real-world exposure From residential camps to street plays, from digital safety to big dreams, students are discovering a world beyond their surroundings. 40 students supported with scholarships 🎓 And many more now completing school and aiming higher. Because education isn’t just about marks. It’s about confidence. It’s about aspiration. It’s about a better future. #projectuthan #educationforall #empowerment #changemakers

They don’t lack potential. They lack access. Across rural and tribal India, no guidance, no exposure, no support. Talent exists. Dreams exist. But without direction, they fade. That’s where change begins. 36 coaching centres across India are helping students with: • Academic support • Scholarships • Mentorship & skill-building • Structured learning And it’s working. From cracking exams to building careers— students are aiming higher and inspiring others. Because when one student rises, it creates a ripple effect. That’s how real change begins. 🌱 #educationforall #ruralindia #socialimpact
