“digital twin” 🐡🧱 / 🧱🐡
This photogrammetry captures one of our latest reef structure in Tamisan, Pujada Bay (Mindanao, Philippines). This structure was built and documented by newly trained Reef Builders.
The visibility was per-fect that day, which is why you can see all details on the reef.
How great is this?
The skilled Reef Builders are graduates of the Reef Regeneration Leaders Workshop, a collaborative initiative supported by the FourFold Foundation.
Our new series “Earth to Reef” is live! 🪸🧱🇵🇭

25 years. ⏳
That’s all corals may have left.
That’s not just a statistic. It’s a deadline.

Sometimes regeneration is not only visible in coral growth or fish biomass, but in the quiet return of species you almost never get to see. 🔍 🤿
Meet one of the ocean’s tiniest and most mysterious dragons: the Lembeh Sea Dragon. 🌊🐉
Only 3–4 cm long and almost impossible to spot, this mysterious relative of seahorses was only discovered in 2006 in Indonesia’s Lembeh Strait.
Imagine how special it felt, when we observed these tiny sea dragons settling around our reef structures in Pujada Bay, Philippines. 💙
@cheadlawan first discovered them there with her incredible macro-spotting skills, and @aerialnauten managed to capture these rare photos (despite the animal being only about 2 cm long and extremely difficult to photograph...).
Field update incoming 🪸
Our local partners @conmar.ec are back in the water of Los Cirales, Ecuador to monitor how our reef habitats are developing. What’s growing? Who has moved in? How is the ecosystem changing? 𓇼
These dives help us follow the story after deployment, learn from each site and keep improving how we rebuild reefs.
More updates from below the surface soon! 🌊

Lately we experienced something truly special 💙
Scuba divers and Freedivers explored a new underwater habitat together… and the excitement was instant.
Between the structures, countless baby corals are already growing – small, but full of hope 🪸
And not just them: many fish and other marine species have already chosen this place as their new home 🐠
This shows exactly why projects like this are so important:
Our natural coral reefs are under pressure worldwide – from climate change, pollution, and human impact.
Without active protection and creating new habitats, we risk losing one of the most valuable ecosystems on our planet.
But we can all do something:
✨ Dive mindfully and master your buoyancy
✨ Don’t touch or take anything
✨ Reduce plastic use
✨ Support projects that create real change
@rrreefs shows what real solutions can look like – sustainable reef structures that bring life back 🌊

We took the streets of Zurich, and what a splash we made! 🤿🌊
This @rrreefs event was all about bringing our amazing community together and raising awareness for coral reef regeneration.
🤿Picture this: people fully geared up in wetsuits and snorkeling masks, venturing through the city, drawing glances on trams and streets. 🚲
From rolling up our sleeves for practical reef-building sessions to capturing every special moment with the @kleinbild.ch team, the day was a reminder of why community is at the heart of what we do. 🧱📸
A massive thank you to every single one of you who showed up, suited up, and shared your afternoon with us. Your energy and passion made the day truly special!
A special shoutout to the generous support of the Zurich-based teams of @urban_lemonade_limo , @drinksoully , and @ambossrampe , for keeping us hydrated and the good vibes flowing.
There is more to come. More reefs. More events. More chances to get involved. 🪸

🌊✨ Diving with Purpose in Siquijor ✨🌊
What an incredible day at the Artificial Clay Reef in Siquijor 💙
Together with a beautiful mix of scuba divers and freedivers, we explored this inspiring restoration project of @rrreefs — and the results are truly amazing 🪸
The 3D-printed clay reef structures are coming to life:
Tiny coral babies are growing everywhere, fish are moving in, and marine life is thriving 🐠✨
And the most beautiful part?
No corals were planted. This reef is growing 100% naturally — creating a stronger, more resilient ecosystem 🌱🌊
Seeing how nature reclaims and rebuilds when given the right support is simply magical 💫
Thank you to everyone who joined and made this experience so special 🙏
And a big shoutout to @rrreefs for their incredible work in marine conservation — this project truly makes a difference 🌍💙
If you’d like to experience this unique dive and support ocean restoration, feel free to reach out to @pattiocean for the next trip 🌊
Let’s keep protecting what we love 💙
