5 years ago today, I released my ādebutā album Sweet Side. Iāve been making music for a long time but this was the first album that I felt made me official. I put everything into this record and it has quite literally taken me around be world.

This one takes me back to thinking I had everything figured outā¦ and realizing I didnāt. Life didnāt go how I planned, but it ended up better than I expected.
āDaydreamā is about letting go of control and learning how to find the beauty in that.

@amber.jeanne and I have been friends since we went to USC together, and sheās honestly one of my favorite artists/producers/writers/singers. She produced, co-wrote, and arranged this track.
We started writing it while we were on the Capital Jazz Supercruise in January of 2020, sitting in a tiny cabin listening to one of her beats while I tried to explain how I was feeling.
This one is about trying to be honest without being hurtfulā¦ and realizing that even when people get it wrong, you still donāt want to do life alone.
